Day 2- January 7th

Today, we took the train to Bellinzona, the capital of this region. It was only about a 20 minute train ride. It was a relatively small city, with a lot of stores. It was more commercial than Lugano. We got lunch at a disco bar, where our waitress didn't speak English. That was an interesting experience. I had a really blonde moment when I went to get change from the counter and they asked me where I'm from. I first replied Maryland, and they looked at me like I had three heads. I then said United States, and they still looked at me funny. Then finally the guy next to me said America and they all understood that lol. We all got sandwiches, and learned the hard way that water is 4 francs. Never doing that again. We then explored the rest of the city which was amazing because we found this awesome castle and got a lot of really great pictures. We then took the train back and went to migros to do our grocery shopping. I'm about to go get ready to go to this bar called coyote ugly (so american right?) with everyone so that should be fun. So long.
